Profile:
Isabelle has worked at Ritch Durnford since graduating from law school in May 2006. She spent the first two years working in the areas
of insurance defence and general litigation but she now practices in the areas of labour and employment law and
general litigation. She examines legal issues as well as prepares cases for hearings, arbitrations, settlement
conferences, trials, and appeals. Isabelle has represented clients in the Nova Scotia Supreme Court and the Small Claims Court. She has
also co-authored a number of papers and is the Nova Scotia representative on the Pandemic and Public Emergency Working Group of the Labour and
Employment Law Section of the CBA.
Isabelle completed her Masters of Laws at Dalhousie Law School as part of the Canadian Institutes for Health Research Training
Program in Health Law and Policy. Prior to attending law school, Isabelle was a research assistant at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa.
In her spare time, Isabelle enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters. She is also an avid runner.
